Price increase for Renhold Love to Dance

Hello dancers, Those of you that attended the last Love to Dance class at Renhold will know that the hall committee have brought a new minimum hire fee into action which means a hall hire increase of 15% for me. I was going to swallow this and not increase the cost of your dance classes, however... The hall committee are not allowing me 10 minutes get-in/set-up time or 5 minutes clear-out time either side of my contracted hire times unless I pay for it. I begrudgingly agreed to paying for an additional 15 minutes but they refused my offer stating that they only work in half hour increments, so I am forced to pay for an extra 30 minutes. This is a 35% increase for me! To say I am annoyed is an understatement, especially as I have been a hirer of the hall for 4 years, always paying on time and leaving the venue clean and tidy. As I am trying to make a living from these classes, contrary to popular belief that I do it as a hobby, I have no choice but to increase the price of the Renhold Love to Dance class to £7.00 PAYG or £65.00 for a 10x punchcard with immediate effect. The good news is that you can arrive early and we shall commence the warm-up at 2pm sharp. At tea break you will not be required to wash-up & clear away, I shall do that after class. This means that you will get an extra 10-15 minutes of dance for your money! If numbers drop I will have to cancel the class or find an alternative location. (Great Barford Village Hall is too expensive. Blunham & Ravensden village halls are not available on a Tuesday afternoon.) Those of you that already have class punchcards can of course use them up with no extra charge. I hope you keep dancing! Yvette
